Before I get into the review I just wanted to talk about the design a little bit. Marble nails are something I've been meaning to try for forever but I kept putting them off because I wasn't totally sure how to do them and wasn't sure how they'd come out. I finally decided to take the plunge and try the design out after I saw a marble nail tutorial by @TheNailTrail on Instagram! (If you want to try this look out for yourself you should definitely go check out her tutorial!)
I really love how this design came out and I love think the soft grey + white + gold combo is a perfect look for spring!

And now on to the review!
These decorations come in a 50 piece set and are available in 10 different shapes (I’ll be talking about pattern #87 here).
Ah, alloy charms. I keep telling myself that I’m going to stop trying these things because I usually end up annoyed with alloy products (x, x). I generally find them hard to manage because they lie flat (not curved to the nail), but I keep finding myself ordering them because they always come in such cute designs.
After my last experience with alloy charms though I had a better idea of how to make these little triangles work for me. Before applying them to my nails I bent them slightly so that they’d curve more with my nail. I also applied them directly into the wet topcoat to avoid awkward adhesive bubbling around the charm. The result was pretty good and 2 of the 3 charms I put on stayed on my nails for a few days even without a topcoat over top.
One other thing that I should mention that happens with a lot of metallic charms/studs etc. is that they fade the longer you wear them. What I mean by this is that when you first put them on they’re a bright, shiny gold but after a few days they’ll look like a more muted bronze. I’m assuming this is from either oxidization or contact with the oils from your skin (I’m not a science kid though, so this is purely speculation).
Overall I think these charms look really cute and they’re a nice change from typical square studs. I also like how they’re hollow; I feel like it makes them look lighter/more delicate with your design.
